Mark Rober (born on March 11, 1980) was brought up in Brea, California, with his two siblings. Rober completed his high school education at Brea Olinda High School in 1998. His passion for engineering led him to pursue a mechanical engineering degree from Brigham Young University and then earn a master’s degree from the University of Southern California.
In 2004, he began his assignment at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), committing nine years to significant contributions, notably on the Curiosity rover.
