How to View Whom You Sent Follow Request on Instagram
On Instagram, you cannot access your Instagram sent follow request history directly. To look for the same, you must download your Instagram data with the following steps:
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your device, and click on the avatar or profile icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Click and visit the three horizontal lines at the top right corner.
Step 3: Go to ‘Your Activity’.
Step 4: Hit on the ‘Download Your Information’.
Step 5: Fill in the email id, where you would want to receive the data, and hit Request Download.
Step 6: Type your Instagram account password, and tap on the ‘Next’ button in the top right corner.
Step 7: Now, you will get the email with the title ‘Your Instagram Information’.
Step 8: Next, download the information.
Step 9: You’ll be automatically redirected to the Safari web browser. Fill the box with your password and tap on ‘Log in’.
Step 10: Hit again on download information.
Step 11: Search for the downloaded file on your device.
Step 12: Visit the Settings application on your device and search for Safari, then tap on it.
Step 13: Check the text that appears next to ‘Downloads’.
Step 14: Launch the files app on your device.
Step 15: Go to the locations where Safari downloads are saved, under the ‘Locations’ section.
Step 16: It’s an iCloud Drive, which we found in Step 13.
Step 17: Hit ‘Downloads’.
Step 18: Tap on the zip file to download it.
Step 19: Next, launch the unzipped file.
Step 20: Launch the file named, ‘followers_and_following’.
Step 21: Go to ‘pending follow requests’.
That’s it! You did it. The list of accounts will now appear for which you have sent unconfirmed or pending follow request.
How to Cancel Sent Follow Request on Instagram in 2023
Good thing is, that you can withdraw a sent follow request if you change your mind by following the below steps:
Step 1: Go to the list, and search for the user’s name you wish to cancel the request.
Step 2: Now, a pop-up will appear ‘Leave Files and Open this Link?’, tap on open.
Step 3: Hit on the Requested to cancel the request.
Note: It should be noted that, there is no way to cancel the request all at once, you need to manually cancel them one by one.
