Step 2: Go to your profile by hitting on the profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Hit the three horizontal lines in the top right.
Step 4: Choose Settings.
Step 5: Go to Privacy.
Step 6: Choose Activity Status.
Step 7: Tap the toggle icon next to Show Activity Status.
Once you’ve done this, Instagram won’t let anyone know about your activity status. And you will no longer display the green dot next to your DP.
